The Field Tasks module provides a rich set of tools that allow better business management for fruit and vegetable growers. The Field Tasks module includes comprehensive management of spray diary, farm diary, irrigation diary, block/plot inputs, harvesting diary, and inventory management systems. Scheduling and Activity Monitor
For each variety of produce per season, staff can setup standard field task templates which may include any number of tasks and suggested dates, durations, materials, and labour and how they should be undertaken according to the age of the crop, eg: for a Capsicum Crop in summer;
- Fertilise with Gypsum 10 days prior to planting
- Apply Plastic at least 5 days Prior to planting
- Spray with Abmectin at least 1 day prior to planting
- Spray with X, X days after plant

Farm Diary
Farm Diary shows all of the tasks scheduled for the farm(s) in a graphical calendar or diary view. The diary is used for planning and monitoring purposes, as well as recording traceability. Crops and Blocks under withholding periods are displayed bright red through to the date and time that the withholding period expires.

Inventory
This module manages all materials used in the business for both field tasks and packing operations. When Tasks are performed, the system automatically deducts the correct amount of materials from inventory. This allows constant tracking of the quantity of materials on hand.

Mobile Farm Management*
Allows field staff to use a PDA to view and record field activities during their normal work processes. The PDA can be carried to any location where a wireless network connects to your local network. The PDA application allows data entry directly to the Farm Manager database located at your site, making data capture accurate and timely.
Note: The PDA application is an add-on module and is not included in the purchase of the standard Field Tasks module.
