Stock Arrival

The Stock Arrival module allows your staff to handle incoming fruit and vegetables into the pack house. Fruit/vegetables can come from either your own farms or other growers. Barcodes can be generated when produce arrives at the pack house to maintain traceability. 

The produce can be tracked accurately throughout the storage and processing phase of production allowing efficient unprocessed goods management via identification barcode labels which can be used by a PDA device to scan onto a production run. This module is a core part of the Agevo Pack-House suite.

There are three methods of stock arrival on the PC;

  1. Depot Arrivals - For raw produce arrivals that are to be temporarily stored at a depot.
  2. Depot Arrivals (Touchsceen) - As Above. 
  3. Run Arrivals - For raw produce arrivals that will be added directly to the production run.

Record Incoming Produce

Using the Stock Arrival module you can record simple details of incoming produce, or you can record detailed information depending on your requirements.  Each time stock is brought from the crop/grower to the pack house, a Stock Arrival record is created. Essential details recorded are:

  • Received date & time
  • Grower/crop origin.
  • Harvest date and time.
  • Harvest. 
  • Incoming Unit Type. 
  • Notes.
  • Depot, column & row. 
  • Quantity.
  • Gross weight
  • Measurement Type.

Note that many of these details are optional.

Determine Overall Labour Costs

Use this module to track overall packing costs over any selected period of time.  Compare this seasons/quarters packing labour with last seasons. 

Unlimited Shifts

The Packing Labour module allows unlimited shifts per day/Production Run.

Packing Priority

The priority of which orders need to be packed first at "this very point in time" is constantly managed by the Packing Priority Control component. 

The Packing Priority Control component allows sales orders to be prioritised by administration or marketing staff when they are received, and the packing shed staff will automatically be alerted of the priority of each order during their daily packing activities. 

Printed Packing Priority

Staff can print Packing Priority forms and distribute to each line manager or pack manager to ensure produce is packed in the correct order.

Staff can also view the priority of packing not only on PC's but also on large display monitors that can be mounted in the packing shed. 

Individual Sales Order Priority

Packing priorities are based on the importance of Sales Orders, so an individual order from a specific customer can be given absolute priority over other customer orders.

Quality Control

The Quality Control module allows your pack house to randomly select packed produce and perform quality tests on it.  The results are used to produce a Quality Control report which can be matched with your customer's quality requirements or used to determine packer performance. 

Used correctly, the Quality Control module is highly accurate; existing Farm Manager Quality Control users have reported receiving Quality Control tests from chain stores which matched the Quality Control results from Agevo. 

Quality Control, any time, anywhere

Quality control can be performed at any time throughout the packing process, allowing your business to determine its own quality control processes and criteria.  

One Click Traceability Audit Reporting

Rapidly perform a traceability audit simply by filtering a date range and selecting the Batch number.  Instantly return details of the entire production and packing history of a batch.  Recalls can also be performed on the Inventory Batch Number by using the above method.  

Post Pack Quality Control Tests

Once goods have been packed, the cartons/containers can be randomly selected for Quality Control Tests. The results of the tests can be used to gauge packer performance, and determine the ultimate market for the processed goods. 

Creating Quality Control Standards

The Quality Control module allows you to define Quality Control standards such as Woolworths, or Coles; or even make up your own standards.  You can create an unlimited number of Quality Control standards which can optionally be specific to Traded Units sold to your customers.

Mobile Quality Control

The PDA module allows staff to perform these functions anywhere in the packing shed or outside in dispatch areas.  See Mobile Stock Control for more information.

Extensive Quality Control Reporting

A multi-filter of report allows the analysis of Quality Control information, from Batch Based Quality Control, to the Quality Control performance of individual packers or teams of packers.

Pallet Creation

Creating pallets of fruit and vegetable has never been easier than by using the Pallet creation component. The Pallet creation component allows rapid creation of mixed or single line item pallets.

Create & Maintain Pallets

Most importantly, this module allows you business to create and manipulate fruit and vegetables on pallets, or in some way "packaged" or processed. 

Quality Audit Trail

Pallet details such as time created, who created it, contents, batch numbers, Weights, Notes, and the complete history of every time the pallet was moved (AND who moved it) is continuously recorded in the background.  An audit of a pallets history can be performed at any time using the pallet movement report.

Automatic Materials Consumption

The system automatically records the consumption of packaging materials (eg: cartons, trays, plastic punnets/sleeves etc). This information can later be used to analyse packing costs.

Pallet Labels (Standard)

Print pallet labels that identify the fruit or vegetable on each pallet. The pallet label has a Pallet Number which is automatically generated by Farm Manager. 

EAN Pallet Labels

Generate GS1 compliant Pallet labels using either your own GTINS or those belonging to a supplier; create labels for individual cartons, as well as pallets. 

Detailed Pallet Label

For use in conjunction with our PDA bar-coding solution, each pallet can have a unique barcode for scanning into a new location or scanning onto a shipment.

Crate/Carton Labels

Generate crate tags for RPC's as per Woolworths & Coles requirements.

Generate small adhesive stickers for cardboard boxes.

Location Tracking

Each pallet is assigned a location or storage area. 

Pallet Origin

Pallets can be created that were packed in the field, packed in the pack house, or purchased from a supplier. 

Consignment

Rapidly manage the sales, consignment, and shipment processes with the click of a mouse or stylus! The Consignment component allows you to view your sales orders, packed produce and rapidly consign goods to the sales order items. You can then go on to create Pallet shipments, Invoices and Transport Dockets. 

Consigning Goods

This facility allows you to view your outstanding sales orders, select a sales order item and only display the traded units matching the selected order item. By clicking the 'consign to order' button adjacent the pallet item you consign that item to the selected order item. Should you require a lesser quanity than a full pallet to fill the order, you are able to use the pallet building component to add to existing or create new pallets from items off other pallets and generate new pallet labels.

Sales orders can be printer prior to or after consignment but invoices are always printed after. 

Sales Order Management

The system allows management of your clients Purchase Orders, which become Sales Orders in the system.  This allows pack house staff to plan their packing activities and better manage the dispatch process. 

Delivery Dockets & Invoices

The Consignment module can rapidly produce your Delivery Dockets; these dockets can accompany the shipment of goods and can also double as an invoice if required.  The dockets fit inside a window envelope if you choose to include pricing information on the docket.  Automatic creation of Delivery Dockets saves a massive amount of time in the office!

For selected customers, you can display ‘their' product codes next to each item on the Delivery Docket.

Extensive Sales Analysis & Reporting

Information collected during the consignment process allows marketing and sales staff to perform comprehensive sales analysis. 

Inventory

This module allows the management of all materials used in the business for packing fruit and vegetable products.   When Tasks are performed, the system automatically deducts the quantity of materials used from inventory.  This allows constant tracking of the quantity of materials on hand.
